Johannes Andersen

Johannes Andersen was born in 1903 in Aarhus, Denmark. He later began his career as a cabinet maker, opening his first office in the 1930s, where he worked on furniture and architecture.

His careful craftsmanship is a hallmark of his style, with rosewood and teak wood featured prominently in many pieces. His reputation has flourished to make him a central figure in Danish furniture design, which gained international acclaim in the 1950s.
